When I look in the mirror,
All that I see,
Is a stranger staring back.
This couldn't possibly be me.

I'm looking for
A person who is happy and free.
Careless and strong,
Where can she be?

But the person I'm looking at,
Is a stranger that lies,
Not the person I was,
But I've come to realize.

The person from the mirror,
Is definitely me.
But I will change my ways,
Just you wait and see.

I'll be the better person,
And I'll fight until the end.
I'll overcome the stranger,
and I'll be the better friend.

I'll hug a little harder.
Love a little longer.
And believe me when I say,
I'll become so much stronger.

I'll forget about the lies,
And the drama, and the hate.
I'll start all over,
And become something great.

And after all that,
All of these troubles and pain.
I'll get up off my feet.
And I'll try it once again.

I'll go to the mirror,
But this time I'll see.
That the stranger in the mirror is gone.
I am now the real me.

And I won't look back,
on those cold, selfish ways.

I'm finally me.
