Beneath

by Hopelessly Devoted to You   May 6, 2008

I feel your presence as you walk by,
I hear something,
a loud thumping,
I try to talk my words have been taken,
I'm out of my control.

I am puzzled of how you do this,
when you walk by,
something follows,
my eyes,
when you walk up to talk to me,
something jumps,
my heart beat.

Every time you look at me,
you only see the surface,
but not beneath,
inside my heart races,
my eyes observe yours,
my mind has been lost,
my mouth has been stopped,
from saying the truth,
all it wants,
is to say "I love you."
