Evil Hides Where Good Lies

Good is all around
That is what we see

We look across the yard
And see a bird singing in a tree

What we do not notice
Is the evil that lies within

For underneath this singing bird
Lies a staring cat with an evil grin

This happens night and day
Be it as it may

People say you did good
When they are talking to your face

But they turn around and to their friends
They say that your a disgrace

If you take a second look at everything around
And look carefully at the things you missed

You will see the evil that surrounds
You will see it hides where all good lies
