What Is So Wrong With Me

My safe haven fills with tears as they fall from my face...
All I wanted was to know that I'm up to your standards,
This is my home but I feel so out of place.
What is so wrong with me?
Why do you not hear my screams?
For they are silenced,
Held in until I can't stand it anymore.
Why do you scream at me?
I didn't do anything wrong...
I know I'm the odd one out.
My will may rise above everyone else's
Yet my voice is quieter than a mouse.
No one hears me...
Why do I feel like this?
Why do I feel so alone, so unheard, so invisible?
What is so wrong with me?
Just tell me now...
But you get no response,
Not a word.
