Mine, So Possessive

by elly   May 7, 2008

I can't keep watching you,
With your terrible, horrible walk.
I can't keep listening to you,
Every time you talk.

My eyes seethe of jealousy,
Perhaps even of possessiveness
Everytime some girl being silly,
thinks that she's got a chance.

Mine, all mine
That's what I wish you were
Mine, all mine
That's what I told said you were

Honey please don't touch my hair,
Don't press your face to my skin
I don't think it's at all fair
And I always shake from within

So intoxicating, so invigorating
This life I seem to lead
So intoxicating, so invigorating
The things you do to me

I want to say that I really don't care,
that you're just a toy.
I can't keep lying when you're there
Making me forget my ploy.

It's all I can do to keep pretending,
The playful gestures, the playful rush
And it's just so condescending
... Honey, I don't want to crush.
