Just One Mistake

by Raychil   May 8, 2008

Listen to their screaming voices
All because of his wrong choices
One mistake gone too far
From alcohol to a burning car

An accident on '68
But the ambulance came too late
A 3 car collision, 7 dead
He rose with only a scratch on his head

The fire burned
A baby cried
Somehow she
Had survived

The windows were smashed
The cars were trashed
Tears were shed
For innocence bled

With nothing more than alcohol
He truthfully killed them all
Even the ones who still remain
They will never be the same

Sirens roared
He was arrested
And his blood alcohol
Didn't need to be tested

He already had 3 DUI's
Why was he still allowed to drive?
The lives he took were not his to take
And its all because he made one mistake.
