Hi and Bye

I try to find ways to talk to you
try to find reasons to say Hi
yet every chance i get
its always just hi and bye

i wish we had more time
i wish you'd give me a chance to show
i can love you more than them
for as their love dies mine only grows

i wish you'd give me the chance
to let you see the love in me
so i can give you all the joys of my heart
so we can both live happily

yet now all i can do is wait
i have no chance in view
i wait with just a Hi and Bye
till i give my love to you
