The Kiss Of A Lifetime

by Dying Beautifully   May 10, 2008

We were at a party,
Not dressed up.
You were dared to kiss me,
And you said yup.

I did not know what to say,
I just moved closer.
But you had this way,
To make my face turn rosier.

The lights went out,
We started to kiss.
We had ten seconds to make out,
But felt like ten hours of bliss.

They turned on the lights,
We hadnt noticed.
Our eyes were like dark nights,
Our bodies closest.

We broke apart after what seemed like forever,
And looked at each other with new eyes.
Now it seems like we are closer then ever,
For our lives are now bound with ties.

But now we move on like nothing occured,
Although we great each other more often.
We dont look at each other as though were absurd,
But with eyes to be soften.
