Beach Fun

by sweet escape   May 10, 2008

The sun smiles brightly as the birds twitter and cheep
but in the shadows some little girls weep.
Though the day is bring, their world is dark.
They just lost their friend to a big mean shark.
They watched as she disappeared bite by bite.
Wondering if she had put up a big fight,
Would she be here with them today?
Would they still be playing in the bay?
Try as they might they can not change the past.
They hate to live their live till their, breath, last.
