Millions, of billions, of trillion of people.

by Kat   May 11, 2008

I wasn't alone that day.
Instead I stood in the crowd of millions.
Staring to the stars of more then a billion.
If i could count i would say more then a trillion.
I was not the pretties looking.
In fact the girl next to me was as bright as day.
I..Meaning myself, was in a black hood.
Better to hide I always thought this was good.

There were lights in the water that night.
Souls..Spirits...Loved ones in the stream.
I was far from home, wishing for a beam.
Even though my face didn't show,
You could see me with a passionate glow.
Taking my hand into you're hand our eyes locked.
Staring..wondering...I knew my life was changed.

Your black hood mixed with mine as you leaned inward.
In what seemed to be forever I listened.
I became whole as I lived my life for the first time...
Your words rose my spirit and drowned the darkness.
From then on I would be your trillion.
You would be my billion.
Then I would be your million..
As you could see the numbers add for you and me.
For when all those people left.
We were the only two there.
Two of more then numbers could add.
In your voice you told me just one thing.
.."I love you."
