I didn't say I was powerful, I said I was a Wizard

by Falling Under   May 11, 2008

Theres a shadow falling over this town. With darkness following its path. The world has burned down, and I'm the last surviver. Maybe theres something left. It was empty on the edge of town but I knew everyone floated along the bottom of the river. So I walked through the waste where the road curved into the sea and the shattered seasons lay,. The sky had come crashing down like the news of an intimate suicide. I picked up the shards and formed them into shapes of stars that wore like an antique wedding dress. The echoes of the past broke the hearts of the unborn as the ferris wheel silently slowed to a stop. Maybe theres something left, always thinking theres something left, I slowly stopped, knowing what was left, my mouth full of dust, under the tree, bleeding black into the leaves, I let the insects feed on me till there was nothing left.

It was suppose to be a story i suppose,
