Your photos lie in the closet
I couldn't bring myself to see
The friendship we once had
Ruined by only me

Your smile reminds me
Of the distant past
Where we were laughing like crazy
Too quickly it passed

I was just a young girl
Slowly falling in love
With a certain young boy
My gift from above

My tears bleed out
As a sign of grief
When I told you the truth
You stood there in disbelief

You never expected this from me
You never felt the same
You loved me too
But just like a sister, you quickly claim

    Awww this is so sad.. falling in love with your best friend can be tough. if this is true.. im so sorry.

    the poem flowed nicely. i enjoyed it.

    "I was just a young girl

    ^^im pretty sure in the last line of this stanza you meant to put "My" instead of "her"
