Kiki Strike

Trying to keep a tremor from my voice
I whispered
She abandoned me,
betrayed me.
A forbidden friendship
That came with circumstances
Eager to recover the truth
That was locked up
She owes me that much
I trusted her,
She abandoned me,
Betrayed me.
