Sanity or normality
never can you truly be both
for all these insane people
are what i see the most

conversations spoke emptily
words are filled with dreams
mister gullible someone
his laughter turns to screams

i walk by, my head up high
while others laugh and skip
i turn my head to stare at the strange
a mistake that makes me trip

the mental show their arms
and i realize I'm one of them
we all have these faint red scars
veins are snapped like stems

one big coffin for us all
we couldn't be taken apart
I'm found lying in the middle
one spear through all our hearts

sanity or normality
I've found now that I'm not
i think I'm just unnatural
a young girl has been caught

caught inside a daydream
one thats happy and warm
but then the tear drops fall
they take this insane world by storm
