A promise

As i hold you in my arms i wish for this moment to never end.
The rain falls on us i stare into your soul.
As you say i love you i seal it with a kiss,
The world smiled upon us that day and said don't ever forget it.
As i take my last look upon you before you leave i regret not telling you i love you.
The memories i hold from that day keep me going for if it was not for that day id fear i wouldn't be here now.
