I still love you

by tristan   May 15, 2008

You hold those you love close
but what happens when in order
to protect them you have to let go
you look into their eyes
you see what you must do
you break down and cry and they ask
"whats up" you cant say you just stand there
you look into there eyes and say "nothing"
you don't know what hurts more letting them go or knowing your lying to them
you remember this moment for the rest of your life
every time you look back on it you smile
and yet you you cry
you keep thinking move on and forget
but every time you think that you know you cant
you let them forget and move on
you leave them to think that you don't care
even though you did all along and thats why you did it
thats how you know you love someone

    Ohh this is so sad. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to this.

    I loved this poem, although there's a few grammatical errors you should hurry & correct to make this poem even better!

    thouse--> those
    there--> their
    off--> of

    Other than that, it's perfect the way it is. Great job! :]
