Wasted my time

I cant just give up.....
I'm not gonna throw away everything I've been working toward....
A whole year...turned into nothing.....
I've wasted my time haven't I?
Well thats just great....
Fantastic to know ....
The tears weren't worth it
I suppose....
Not enough to convince you that I REALLY do love you...
But I guess that's what I get for chasing after something that just wasn't meant to be.....

    Awh, this is kind of sad. just know that if you are truly meant to be with someone then you guys will be together. i don't believe in wasting your time on love. it only makes you stronger for your next relationship that just could be the one. nice write.

    Your punctuation needs some work. I personally find the whole "...." thing to be kind of annoying when used in excess. Also the whole poem just didn't really work for me. Word choice was weak and I feel that you could use some stronger words to make the poem more powerful.
