Give all you've got / LIVING BETWEEN THE LINES

by Jim McMillen the man within   May 13, 2008

This is a new style I am trying , it is two different poems written on different days Where one day I ask myself questions and two weeks later I answer them!
I guess you could call it responsive poetry!

Give all you've got / Aug.17th 2007 #87

LIVING BETWEEN THE LINES SEPT.3RD 2007 #88

What good is music without ears to hear?
BEING A ONE MAN BAND IS WHAT I'VE COME TO FEAR!

What good is beauty, without eyes to see?
WAIT! THERE IN THE MIRROR, NEVER MIND IT'S JUST ME!

What good is fragrance, without a sense of smell?
WILL THE (WINDS OF CHANGE) CARRY HER SCENT,
OR JUST FAN THE FLAMES OF HELL?

What good is flavor, without a sence of taste?
WILL I BE THE SPICE OF HER LIFE, OR JUST CONTINUE TO GO TO WASTE!

What good is touch, without someone to feel?
WITH HER HONESTY OF (DESIRE) I KNOW I WOULD HEAL!

What good is love without a heart to call home?
FOR IT'S NOT LOVE , BUT LUST, IF YOUR ONLY DESIRE IS TO ROAM!

What is the purpose of love, but to express?
LOVE, GIVE ALL YOU'VE GOT!
