When you say goodbye

by Betty Morton   May 13, 2008

I wish I wasn't there when you say goodbye
On that deadly night my world went back in time
To the world before I meet you
The fall was so lonely;the winter was so cold
I always pray to God that someone will come
And stay with me through the winter and fall
Now I have to say goodbye to everything I pray for
So I guess I have to say goodbye
To the only person I loved
