You meant nothing...

by Jack   May 14, 2008

Looking back on what we had,
and all of those strange things we said.
The lies and tricks you pulled,
the vile and ripped out souls.
You used and manipulated me,
and for what nothing but your sexuality?
But as truth is beauty and beauty is truth,
you have neither quality except your youth.
You're heart is bitter and cold and ruthless,
and some day you'll realize that there is nothing left.
There is no evidence, nor nothing to prove,
there is no guilt on my part, but lies that were shrew.
But when you look within yourself you can not hide,
for you can fake it all you want but you can't deny.
What you are is what you've become,
even though what you have done can't be undone.
Smile all you want, but your face is a facade,
a little lonely person traped in their own pod.
But of what we had there is no proof,
little existance and quite existential moods.
The time has come and little has been undone,
for what we had was little more than a pun.
