Shes so afraid of getting hurt
She's been so mistreated
Scared of being alone again
Because of being cheated

No one can get close to her
She pushes everyone away
Shes been through it once
And was left in utter dismay

The smile that she uses
That is just her disguise
She just won't show
That she's burning inside

She sits in her room
And cries all alone
She cant take the pain
Of being on her own

Now so isolated
Escaping from the world
The pain she's going through
Will never be unfurled

The silence that she brings
Is always so so cold
She sits there and waits
For her darkness to take hold

The truth she denies
She cant keep it back
Slowly it starts to rise
The world is turning black

From the drawer she takes a knife
Controlled by the fear of being alone
With that blade she ends her life
She's in heaven, no longer on her own

Long ago she started her fall
Now she shrinks into the ground
While we all stand here tall
She will never again be found
