Painted Picture

I am like a painted picture
as happy as can be.
But beware behind a beautiful image
theres always more to see.

My outer shell appars to be
happy beautiful and free
But deep down inside of me
is side never to be seen.

A side that hides a cold and lonley past
A side that yearns to make this relationship last
A side that laughs
A side that crys
A side that always wonders why

A side that says your not happy
A side that wonders what I have done
to make you turn and run

A side that asks can it be
that somewhere there is someone
who could love only me?

Someday soon I hope Ill know
how to make my feeling show.
Like that painted picture
as happy as can be.
