Coming back to me
when the light in your life goes dim
taking you in with open arms
even though i know you'll hurt me

questions in my mind
not knowing what this really is
i loved alone for so long
I've become accustomed to it

your words hit my heart
don't know what to believe
how do i take you seriously
when you've always lied to me

trying to forgive you
the past is the past
your the man my heart decided to love
i cannot walk away from that

so today i decide to let go
letting go of yesterday's pain
I'm walking to wards the future
