A girl called me

I was looking through some old things and found this poem in a book. im not sure when i wrote it but i think it might have been in seventh grade 2 years ago. let me know what you think

a girl all alone
who hides by herself
never shows her true feelings
to anyone else
who feels lonely
even in an ovecrowded room
keeps telling herself
it will get better soon
cant sort things out
shes so confused
to say shes happy
would be to wrongly accuse
if you looked around then maybe youd see
this girl described is none other than me
but there are a few that have recognized the pain behind my happy eyes
who have helped me get by
and have kept me strong
who may not even know
theyre whats held me up for so long
and id like to thank them
cause without them you see
id fall to pieces
there would be no me

    What a wonderful poem!!...it's well-written..
    my favorite part is

    It's too rare to find somebody who can know when u r sad even if u r trying ur best to hide it..and without them I think life would be hell..
    I really loved ur poem and enjoyed reading it..

    Wow that poem was like the story of my life. i know exactly how u felt hun, i think many of us do. That poem was amazing and beautifully written. keep up the good work. a definite 5!
