Let the Beauty Remain

by Melody of Suffering   May 19, 2008

The memories flood through my mind
As I think of the times spent so close to you
Nothing seems so beautiful as that
Even the roses I pass that give such a sweet fragrance
Or the birds sitting together in the cherry tree
Yet, nothing can beat the beauty of life
Something so precious, but with the highest toll
It doesn't seem so bad right now, with each smile
My heart filled with love, my soul; experience
My life surrounded by the ones that I love
Only looking at the dark moments can cloud
Your judgement from seeing this beauty
If only I could hold you tonight
Whisper words full of the love and yearning
That fills my heart; please listen
Don't let your life pass by; it goes by so quickly
Let the beauty remain
