These days ahead feel so dark and drear

Because God called home a loved one so dear

Released on new wings to soar above the skies

Never again to endure our earthly sorrows or cries

A child once cradles in his mother's arms

Now faces his Heavenly Father with no reason for alarm

A boy in the ball field wearing his cap to the side

Now bows before Jesus with nothing to hide

A man who has a story no one here can tell

Can stand before his maker as we hear the Angel's bell

A kind and loving uncle who came with open arms

A funny constant cousin who could calm their any storm

A son, a brother, a nephew and father

He leaves many in grief but he is not bothered

For his streets are now paved with silver and gold

It doesn't matter there of the stories untold

For now he walks with his clothes of white

He has no sadness, no gloom and will never feel fright

He will wait for each one on the other side

Knowing once again we will forever abide

In this young man's life he faced many trials and tribulations

Fought many internal battles then let Jesus take away them

Keeping a kind and gentle spirit throughout this constant duel

Making the man we last knew a walking testimony and tool
