Unborn Secret

by Kelsey   May 22, 2008

As she breaks the news,
his stomach drops, a dead silence awakens.
Her eyes begin to water and her throat goes hoarse.
This unborn secret is not what he expected.

In a flash her future changes,
in just one moment it rearranges.
She regrets telling him the news,
after all, all he did was use.

Her body changes and takes form,
the unborn secret’s out and so is he.
Her dream of a future has forced its toll,
living life as a teenage mother,
only 16 years old.
