Everlasting presence

by Kelsey   May 22, 2008

Try as one may, it'll always be there.
Try as one may, she'll always be there.
Memories, flashbacks, conversations
that I now treasure.

For when she left no measure of happiness
could dry the tears, could contain the feelings
that I possessed.

A beautiful warmth, a calming presence.
A girl who didnt throw herself in acceptance.
She was sincere, she was unique and beyond
gorgeous.

I regret not becoming closer to her.
I regret letting our friendship distance.
Most of all, I miss her existence.

Rest in Paradise Ashley Hernandez.
