Winter's Mist

by MissE   May 22, 2008

Discreetly, Winter left its mist,
Clouding everything in sight,
Slowly memories mesmerise me
And alone, I'll gather them tonight.

As today I think of what has been,
and tonight the words spoken has drifted away,
Coz the wind had blown its essence too far,
and no memory remains to stay.

But yesterday I could still feel your breath, warm,
I felt passion in the mist,
but today winter seems so cold,
and I can't even find the mist.

Tomorrow the sun will shine,
and forget winter was ever there,
I'll be left with a taste of passion,
of moments the mist and I share.

After the leaves have fallen,
and winter has passed us by,
blown away by the summer breeze,
no moments will winter have left of I.

It would have forgotten me,
and fallen sleep till next year,
without a word it will go...
along with it, you too my dear...

What would have become of us?
What could, what would I have to say?
Nothing! Just silent moments remain,
Of a misty passion that will always stay.
