The End of a New Moon

A sorrowful mist sprinkled around
a quiet place it now become
the sound of sweet showers echoed in silence
butterflies and bees played a hushed symphony
a celebration will soon take place a
A new moon will appear tonight,
setting a new beginning
ending another chapter of life
Everything was magical almost heavenly mystical

There ,in the middle of it all, I stand..

Time froze and I've lost track
Trembling I was, yet not able to make a sound
Eyes so sore and dry
fiercely gasping air
longing for what's not there.

All of a sudden, it became dark
the trees are huge and high
silence took over the place
I am scared and vulnerable
I am sinking.. Unwillingly I am fading
It all have to end here and now
If existence is what you'll take,
then I'll nor seek to exist

I hold my heart in my hand
A mournful cry failed to escape my land
I surrender to the overwhelming power,
knowing I've lost my battle
Though I love you, I'll let go
I'll never fulfill thy desire...
