Mixed Emotions

by Dying Beautifully   May 23, 2008

Lost and hungry,
You could never love me.
Loved and needed,
Stay you pleaded.

I can't get your face out of my head,
I no longer can sleep in my bed.
Can still feel your breath and skin,
Can sense you as you walk in.

Depression and anger,
Why are you playing with my temper?
Hatred and distrust,
Is all you want lust?

I see you come in from the hall,
I know the reason you stall.
I watch you sit down in your seat,
I can see it in your eyes your beat.

Sorrow and sympathy,
You don't know how sad you make me.
Regret and dread,
I'm sorry for everything I have and haven't said.

What am I to do with these emotions?
Is there a drug a mixture some kind of potion?
Make me realize lifes little pleasures again,
Show me all my loving friends.
