Phases

by Hannah Emellia   May 24, 2008

The floors don't seem so even,
The walls are closing in,
The windows all look broken,
The lights just seem too dim.

Time is moving slow now,
The days are dragging on,
Nights turn into day-breaks,
Yet nothing changes with the dawn.

Everything seems worthless,
The stars have lost their shine,
The moon just isn't half as bright,
Like how it was when you were mine.

You held my hand and smiled,
I said "I wont let go."
You thought that I was joking,
You thought it was a show.

Still I see you in my mind,
So vivid yet you fade,
I guess we all have to move on,
And just remember friends we've made.

Goodbye... =*[
