God

With everything I am I give to you.
With all that I am not, I seek it through,
To find the me that you want me to be,
To worship you in true love and harmony.

The secrets of the universe to keep,
And share them with my fellow struggling sheep,
I search you out both near and far,
but never quite reaching perfect par.

I search you all the days of my life,
through heart ache, and struggles and strife
And seek my purpose which by you lies,
In books, and forests and across the skies.
