You Realize

There are times when you can never fit in,
where you stand on the boarder line of being wanted.
You give an effort to be nice,
to understand why you're not liked
yet can't see a legit reason.
You begin to second guess yourself
and feel degraded with all the moments of being ignored.
You see yourself as someone negative,
yet you bring so much joy to others.
You ask why there are people who feel the opposite,
why they don't even make an effort...
then you realize that you're not supposed to be there
because something better is on its way.
It will soon appear in front of you,
waving its amazing glory directly at you.
Then that's when you realize that...
you just need to stop trying to fit in
because you're born to stand out.
