its sad but you also went away
ill take every chance to tell you
that i love you in every way

i love your smile
that face you make so sweet
that hug you give so tight
the kiss that makes me weak

i love that grin when you make a joke
and that face when i know you're mad
i sometimes see a tear you hide so cleverly
whenever you are sad

you hide your weakness so well
that at first i didnt see
that behind those fiery eyes of yours
is a love thats also afraid to lose me

i know ill see you again
but id rather it be soon
for every moment were away
your sun misses his moon

like oceans would not be so beautiful
without its calming blue
like me who would not be as happy
