In the End

The flicker of a flame
a shooting star across the sky
the anxiety before the fame
a single tear in last goodbye.
Never have these moments stayed
they are always lost along the way
strong at first, then slowly fade
cast aside by the light of day.
All is fogotten in the end
as life continues on and on
leaving our wounds to mend
and all our fears withdrawn.
