Days go by
and life seems ruff
but even when i break i have to be tough
i have to carry on
and take care of my own
be careful what i think and do
because i reap what i sow
now life isn't so bad
and i think i can deal
i just have to stay focused
and continue to be real
yall all taught me this
an this long and thoughtful stay
you have helped me to live
and i am truly glad that i came.
