"Revealing"

by Stephanie Ricks   May 29, 2004

We all give our hearts,
When finding that one true love.
And we speak soul-felt emotions,
But it just doesn't seem enough.

You could conquer the universe,
And still feel less atop the world.
Because you know you behold the universe,
But your still less that special boy or girl.

You can feel that mighty pressure,
That's dwelling deep inside.
And you hold it in for so long,
That it, you can no longer hide.

And you feel so bewilderingly great,
In explaining just what you feel.
But ever more enticing than words,
Is what that single touch may reveal.
