My favorite color

My favorite color is black,
because of what i am
darkness is perfection
invisible here i stand

for awhile Ive been fading
through different shades of Grey
until now here i stand
invisible in a way

every time I'm broken
i fade a little more
until whats left is gone
like it never was before

soon the night will come
and the day will disappear
its not that i don't care
i simply do not fear

so if u want to find me
you'll have to find a way
to peer inside the darkness
inside which i lay
