25. She Has You

by Toni Lawrence   May 27, 2008

She has the touch of your hand across her hand,
That once was my hand you touched.

She has the feel of your body tightly against her body,
When it should still be our bodies together.

She has the “I Love You” look,
That you once gave to me.

She has the song you play,
That was wrote just for me.

She has the dance we once shared with each other.
She has the kisses that once belong to me.
She has your heart and mine was stolen by you.

Now I am left with a shadow for a husband, a father, and a friend.

Lets not pretend we both know that you are gone,
Because we both know you have moved on.

And now I am left with a broken dream of love till the end.
