So cold

by Rhiannon   May 28, 2008

Without you in my life and by my side
Life is so lonely and I'm so cold.
I should have listened to those who knew
But I never listen to what I am told.
That's why I let you hurt me.
I should have known the truth.
You made me so blind.
Oh, the innocence of youth.
I'm so cold without you,
And your arms around me.
I miss the feel of tenderness,
And the way we used to be.
Will nothing ever be the same?
I just want to go back.
Maybe I could fix what happened
And get back to what I lack.
I would forgive you in a second.
I would take you back in a heartbeat.
I would take everything back.
You're the one who makes my heart beat.
You take my breath away.
I know I shouldn't want it.
But please take me back today.
I miss you so much.
I'm so cold without you here.
I forgive you for hurting me.
Now I'm waiting for you to draw near.
