Why is it?

Death is inevitable, winding us up in fear until we die.
You never know when, or where or how.
No matter what, Death will be a mystery to us for eternity. What does it feel like to die? Even if you came back, no words would explain it. People shouldn't die, at least not good people.

Ronnie James should have lived to see his youngest daughter get married, his oldest daughter graduate high school. He should have been the one to take his daughter on his motorcycle. He shouldn't have gotten sick and died in a hospice. He should have passed on in his sleep, old and content. Ronnie didn't deserve what he got, no one has anything bad to say about him.

And Karen ? Who was willing to give her life to delay the inevitable deaths of an entire plane of people. She shouldn't have been on that plane, been standing up to the terrorist, telling him not to. No one should have. She was the kind of person who should have died old, family at her sides.

But, Death is inevitable. So live life like Karen, and Ronnie. Love and be loved.
