Heart of Darkness

Darkness falls upon my heart.
Entering by my minds eye.
I look within my soul and see,
the pain that will not pass by.

    Hmmm...

    These are just my thoughts but...

    I believe pain is obvious to see,
    Especially ones own pain.

    It kind of contradicted itself, at least to me.

    I mean,
    You don't have to look within your soul to feel the pain.
    You just do. :]
