A Stain Upon Your Heart

by My Mistakes   May 31, 2008

I grab a knife to hid the pain
I pray the blood will leave a stain
but not upon my wrist again
but upon your heart instead

I cry for you, I loved you true
when I'm sad and down, when I'm feeling blue
I cherished everything you used to say and do
so I hope my tears will leave a stain upon your heart

I hope these words will leave a stain
a stain upon your memory, driving you insane
I hope these words will haunt your dreams
Like your face haunts mine, dreams down the drain

I grab a knife to hide the pain
I pray the blood will leave a stain
but not upon my wrist, no
a stain upon your heart
