The Night

by Kearra   Jun 1, 2008

The sky is growing dark
Waiting for the sun to make a new start
The stars twinkle in the sky
They are up so high
The moon shines bright
sending down our only light
The dark fog forms a shield
under that moist air we are concealed
The cool brisk air touches your skin
from the Fields blow the wind
then there lays on the ground is dew
Its not like its anything new
Everything is quite except the grasshoppers and crickets
play you their soft music for free no need for tickets
Sitting here thinking about the night
Its just a beautiful site
You can keep on and on but you need rest
and in the morning let the sunrise be your next test
The sky is growing dark
Waiting for the sun to make a new start
