I've waited many years
and still you have not returned
how long must i wait before you return to me
you are my blanket that keeps me warm
you are my candle that scares away the dark
you are my breath that keeps my alive
i have become cold
and the dark surrounds me
my breath is growing shorter each day
how i long for you to return to me
but if you never return then i will die
cold
scared
