Her Life

by Me   Jun 2, 2008

Her family doesn't see it,
her friends think it's a joke,
while all the time inside,
she really wants to choke.
There's no one she can tell,
not a living soul that knows.

Her mom comes to her room,
and asks what is wrong.
Lying on her bed,
with her hands covering her face,
she insists, there's nothing wrong.
While inside she knows the problem.

She'll some home everyday,
and will just go straight to her room,
knowing they don't care.
Her mom comes home at night,
and just walks away,
never knowing what is going on.

The pain inside her is
too much to bear.
The feeling of being alone
and knows, nobody that will care.

At school she'll sit at the lunch table,
Pretending every thing's OK.
Listening to everyone else's problems,
Always know what to say.

She refuses to share her problems,
even if they ask.
They have no idea what's going on,
behind that invisible mask.

Someday she'll trust somebody,
and tell them what is wrong,
but until that day comes,
She'll sing her unheard song.
