Reflection in the mirror

I look in the mirror
And see a reflection
That is not my own
But something more
A monster of the past
A demon of the future
Is this what I have become
Something that I was scared
Of
Something that all ways
Haunted me
It follows me with every move
I make
Is this my destiny
To be like the cursed
And unforgiving
Is this the path
I must take
Can I change what the
Mirror shows me
Is this the reflection
I must look at every day
Can I change my destiny
Can I live a life
With out this demon
That came from
A place within me
Why am I scared of myself
Why must I walk in a valley
Of death
With tortured souls
That have the same reflection
As me
I look in the mirror once more
And see it changing its reflection
I see me as myself
My grey eyes steering
Back at me
My demons vanquish
My fears gone
I look in the mirror
And see a reflection
That is my own
