Plastic kids & avatars

by Ares   Jun 3, 2008

I call you my love,
because you adore me,
your touch is so smooth,
but did you betray me?

we waste fourty years,
disputing on everything,
you rolled me like a dice,
maybe I was your king?

fake what I'll see,
and I'll buy a worthy life,
plastic kids & avatars,
it's not the way to fall in love.

you call me your prince,
good thing I was lonely,
I searched for a God,
turned out as the devil.

you turn me insane,
you promise me everything,
we take off our clothes,
so you can feel good again.

fake what I'll see,
and I'll buy a worthy life,
plastic kids & avatars,
it's not the way to fall in love.

I wanted this love,
but not through a cyberspace,
you always looked good,
now your charm has faded.

break my ideals,
and I'll run for the hills,
should have shared,
a continent,
the distance is, too great.

    'break my ideals,

this is beautiful, but it confuses the fourty years thing, the distance, and the length of it. The take off our clothes bit (which I might add has a certain...nice quality to it, the way it was worded) maybe there is something I'm missing. All in all this poem is pretty sad, but once again I enjoy your story telling ability.
    Beautifical!

Seemed like someone just were dissopointed by a lover...

    "I wanted this love,
    but not through a cyberspace,
    you looked always good,
    now your charm has faded."
=> Well, who believes in cyber love? Hmm...it can be in cyber space, with cyber people...I am more down to earth....I need a real guy.

    Nice poem.
