The girl no one could love
Always second best
When my love was tried
I always failed the test

Falling short forever
Never meeting par
When I'd run a mile
The finish was still as far

I will never win
No matter how I try
I keep on crashing
Even though I want to fly

Stumbling in the dark
Colliding here and there
Being shunned along the way
Does anybody care?
